« on: December 08, 2006, 12:32:32 PM »

this is the events that take place :-
user connects with real ip
they are given a hidden host eg:-
NoZparker ident@b236t528.network.com
they identify to services
then hostserv resets the host
-HostServ- Automatically setting your Hidden Host to NoZparker

anyone know what is causing this?
we don't want Nozparker ident@NoZparker

oh and it's intermitant

Are you sure it is anope's hostserv you are using? ( anope calls them vHosts, not "Hidden Host" ) - if it is, then its some 3rd party module, and not one of the core/supported modules doing it.

Example of a real HostServ "setting host" message (formatted as seen on IRC):
Quote
[13:09:37] -HostServ- Your vhost of invictachat.co.uk is now activated.

So looking at your message above id say its a 3rd party module.
