Title: Multi Line Channel Entry Messages
Post by: Charles Kingsley on May 26, 2009, 09:11:38 PM
Not sure whether it would be worth making this a module or including it in the core, thoughts?

CSMaxOnJoinMsg or something in services.conf to limit it perhaps?

I can see a real use for this in channels where the topic is full of stuff! (hint #anope).

I've seen requests for this before...kinda like with logon news. People seem to want to add random quotes on different lines n stuff. I say go for it - the directive is a good idea for limiting it since no one wants to join a channel with like 50 lines of crap :)

If people don't stop pasting in #anope that's what'll happen!!!!!!!

Ah, fighting fire with fire. Excellent. I love me a little preemptive strike.

Problem with that is that we'd crash chance not divisible by zero.

IF YOU DIVIDE BY 0 THE ANOPE WILL DISAPPEAR.

It'd be worse than the LHC tbh.

It's ok, me and kingy have forked it into a new and better anope.
