Title: Services folder empty [1.8.8]
Post by: DrkEagle on January 04, 2014, 09:28:48 AM
For some reason I cannot figure out why, my services folder is completely empty, even after I go through ./config and make. Any ideas anyone as to why? It successfully made the folder but there's nothing in it!

Hello,

Did you run make install?

Make install is what populates the ~/services directory.

Ahhh, my mistake, I feel dumb now lol, I didn't type "install" after "make".

So the only problem I'm having now is I get this when running anope:

•10:43.43am• (Server Notice) LocOps -- Link denied for services.localhost.net(unknown@69.42.211.144) (No link block named 'services.localhost.net') [@0:0:0:0:0:ffff:69.42.211.144.24737]

---

I remember the last time I setup UnrealIRC and Anope 3 years ago, I ran into the same problem with setting up correctly the localhost stuff. Problem is, I havn't touched any of this stuff in over 3 years and I don't remember anything lmao!!!!

Thank you so much for the offer to help! Between myself and my co-admin, we finally got anope to connect.  I'm sure something will come up soon that I'll be bugging about haha. Thank you again.
