Title: SuperAdmin Question
Post by: DOSX on May 27, 2007, 09:58:39 PM
Hey I just got this up and running and where talking to some people on a channel and were gonna test the SuperAdmin

Well I think there is a flaw in it like when a person goes into a non-registered channel he gets Operator and when you then try to use the SuperAdmin it won't work

But when you try it on a Channel that is registered then it Works.

Also I did activate it using this command:
/msg operserv set superadmin on

And got the following:

-[Server Name]- *** Global -- from OperServ: [myname] is now a Super-Admin.

So Im wondering any way to get founder or Operator in a channel where the Channel is Unregistered and there is a Operator there or people without Operator

If the channel isnt registered then it doesnt have a founder status anyway...

You can always use /msg OperServ mode #CHANNEL +qo NICK NICK

Thx alot mate ^^ It worked and really helped me out I wish I could have said "ohh I forgot that one" because that would probably make me sound less n00bish, but that would be a lie. But I would rather say thank you for helping me with this and been like 2 years since I have set up and used IRC so I have forgot alot of the commands :P

Still what is the "NiCK NICK" for??? can you Set founder on more people then 1 with it??? well thats what Im guessing

And thx again mate I'll be going pugging all the commands in my F***ing head now ^^

EDIT: anything I could do in return mate??? and also more nicks did'nt work because I just tested :P

Is it now a bit more clear ? you set two modes you have to assign 2 nicks who shall get that mode ;)

another example:

/msg Operserv mode #channel +vvvvv nick nick nick nick nick

;)
