Hi,

When users create new rooms (without registering), they auto become op, is it possible to make ChanServ appear in the userlist of every single room on the server, so the user doesn't become an op, unless the user registers the room?

Have you tried it? Did you miss my comment about we are not going to hold your hand with everything you do?

That module won't do above.. it allows you to put chanserv in a channel, not ANY channel...

additionally, if a user doesn't get @ on join he can't register the channel, because anope requires users to be @ in the channel to be able to register it...

Your IRCd sounds like the place to mess with this,  I know UnrealIRCd  can optionally set whether you get +o on channel creation or not... inspircd probably has that too...

do you really want to limit your users that much?
why would users stay in your network, if most other networks are less limiting?
(just because you are a nice admin and want to take over their rooms by opping yourself in every channel?)

If you're using UnrealIRCd, there is a directive in the main configuration file that will do exactly what you are asking.

set::level-on-join <op|none>;
The mode that a user will get when he's the first to join a channel. This is either 'op' (channel operator, the default) or 'none'.
