I've spent the past hour or two looking through modules and the forum. I can't seem to find what I am looking for.

I am looking to make this a more realistic number. I'm not sure if it can be done so Services don't even oper (+o), or if we can Hide them (+H) (Unreal).
If someone can point me in the right direction ... or create a simple little module to do this for me, I'd appreciate this.

Sadly you cant change services Bot's modes without editing the source code. And when you do you lose support.

a module could set all anope bots +H though..

There really isn't a reason why we can't hide oper status officially. I've encountered several others that'd like the same thing, including myself. A lot of admins don't like having so many services bots as it is and if they are hidden in /lusers the best that we can, then it doesn't look as bad.
I'll work on a patch later and since this really isn't a new feature, it should be ok.

Don't count your chickens just yet. I never said Anope apply the patch, i simply agreed with your request and said I'd write the patch, getting it into Anope is an entirely different matter.

Hmm... How about just a module then???? Means people can pick and chose to ignore if they so wish
