registering channels with Chanserv or network name

hello there, i would like to know if its possible to register a few channels with either ChanServ or my network name being displayed as founder? thanks im using unrealircd.

The simple answer to that is do as other networks do and register your network name as a nick and then whilst using that nick register the channel.

got it and how is it that i do so that nick cannot be used by anyone ?

/ns saset <nick> noexpire on
/os sqline add +0 <nick> Reserved for Official Channels Founder


Unlike Nickserv you don't have to be that nick to ID to ChanServ as founder, so anyone you want to grant founder access to they just: /cs identify #Channel <password>

As a security feature you should lock out real founder access by typing: /cs set #Channel securefounder on. This will help prevent people from changing the channels password or transferring ownership.
