Module Request - ns set mlock

Hi, I would like to request a module for nickserv set mlock not unlike chanserv set mlock that locks channel modes. I've been using services that have ns set mlock and kinda take them for granted. Where users can ns set mlock +R-i or what ever. I believe this may be in 1.80 but would like to see it moduler before then. Use SVN so be happy to work with an author in testing. Where ns set mlock - would remove in modelocking on the nick. Thanks

biggest issue is that user modes currently can not be checked from modules, they are not reported up stream from the protocol module to the core, this was a bug report at one point, with a fix, but never came about, it will not be in 1.8 as was told it was a feature not a bug

It seems like a logical step for anope to take, is there any particular reason since a bug submission and fix was suggested why it can't be included in next release?

because we are under a feature freeze for starters. that means no new features will be added until Anope1.9-devel. Not to mention that not everyones "logic" is the same.
