Anope 1.9.2 - MySQL (SVN Latest)
« on: June 14, 2010, 08:24:14 AM »

Hi,

I have been trying to get Anope 1.9.2 to support MySQL, while using Configure to generate the make files at the end it says MySQL YES, but using configure or cmake mysql modules are not compiled.

FreeBSD Alpha.***** 8.1-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 8.1-PRERELEASE #2: Wed May 19 06:51:44 MDT 2010     root@Alpha.*****:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/TIHS  amd64

Installed Programs:
mysql++3
mysql  Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.47, for portbld-freebsd8.1 (amd64) using  5.2

Any clues?

(I searched the 1.9 forum and have not found anything related that is for the 1.9.1 or later release).

Hi there,

As mysqlpp support is very new it is expected to cause some problems, especially on FreeBSD which AFAIK only one member of our team actively uses.

Can you please pastebin + link to a complete run down from ./configure forwards.

Well it seems configure is not saying MySQL Yes anymore but here is a link to the output.

You must copy/symlink the mysql modules from the mysql/ directory to modules/ (we don't have a system to automatically do that, yet)
