NickServ and BotServ
« on: May 06, 2010, 01:05:24 AM »

sorry for my translation, I am French:

Hello, I installed the service on my server anope unrealircd.conf.

The services work well by making that <nickserv> does not automatically change the nicknames if a person is not identified

Then I can not add bots in the list because <botserv> <botserv> replied "Permission Denied"

If you have a réponces to my questions, it would be cool

Thank you

For anope to change nicks you need NSDefKill enabled, and for there not to be any NickServ access hosts stored for the nick (/ns access list). Most people have addaccessonreg enabled, which means a host is being added as soon as you register. So you probably need to disable that too.
As for botserv, what are you typing, and are you an oper?
