Title: Can't Start Services - "No such file or directory"
Post by: pea on December 28, 2009, 01:21:32 PM
Hi, I'm probably overlooking something really small, but I can't start Services. When I go into the services dir (in /home/publicde/ircd/services) and send './services' I just get '-bash: ./services: No such file or directory'.

I did everything the instructions asked me and double checked by reinstalling it and I had to error messages. What could be the problem?

assuming it installed correctly, you should have 2 directories in services called bin and data, the services.conf goes in /data and you start services from /bin

Yep that worked. I didn't see it in the instructions but it must be there.
