Newbi attempt.
« on: June 20, 2008, 11:05:15 AM »

Hello, last night I finished installing Inspircd and I wanted to use Anope. I installed Anope, and configured the services.conf, however, when I do cd ~/service and then ./services - nothing happens.

I then read on the website to type ./services -debug -nofork and with that, recieved this error:

[Jun 20 05:53:15.561814 2008] FATAL: Can't connect to server: Connection refused

Is there a specific line in the services, I just want to get them up and properly configure them after.

Thank you.

I'm aware of this, and I did the basics for connecting, set the port etc. However, I know get:

[Jun 20 08:17:41.217258 2008] Read error from server: Broken pipe (error num: 32                                                                             )
[Jun 20 08:17:41.217296 2008] debug: Sent: :services.localhost.net SQUIT service                                                                             s.localhost.net :Read error from server: Broken pipe (error num: 32)
