new mlock module needed
« on: July 18, 2011, 10:28:35 AM »

can i have a new anope 1.8.4 + module please to allow channel owners to lock / unlock their channels with the custom channel mode +X

the mode is from unreal's m_adult module and isnt recognised by anope and whilst i think about it .. neither is unreal mode +k <key>

i'm running anope 1.8.4 with unrealircd 3.2.8.1

the m_adult module can be found here  http://www.unrealircd.com/modules/view/63

Channel Ops have always been able to "lock" their channel by setting modes +mints. Now in newer versions of Unreal we can be a bit more specific. ie modes +RM etc.

Additionally, mode +k isn't just an unreal thing. it's rfc1459 required so all ircds should support it. Anope definately supports it, you just can't mlock modes with additional parameters like k,l or ircd specific modes like unreal's f or j.

With that said, I think a bit more information about what exactly you mean/want would be beneficial. Please be specific as to what you are wanting and expecting.

oh I see, you want Anope to see umode +X so you can mlock it. I don't think it's a hard module really, but I haven't time presently. Perhaps someone else can do this real quick for you.
