First of all, this is a forum, not an instant messaging system. People get to posts when they do.

Second, what would be the use of the services joining the channel? I honestly don't see too much use for it IMO. I think it just defeats the purpose really.

The idea of extending Global's use might be a good one :P

/msg OperServ highlight <nick> (the nick Global messages that nick and tells them that the ircop is looking for them - IRCOp+ )
What's wrong with pming the user, or sending a memo if the user is offline?
Also: a command: /msg global msgchan <#chan> (the Nick Global messages that channel, sortof like /bs say except its global and not the botserv bot - IRCop+)
What's wrong with joining the channel and actually saying what you need to say, or using the /bs say feature?
/msg OperServ servicesjoin <channel> (all services join that channel - Network Administrators only)
There's a module that already joins them all to the specified services logging channel in servies.conf. You should look for that one.

im just asking for it..
not all the consequences that come with it...

you are asking for it.. but someone else has to put his/her time into writing it..
therefore unless you can convince a module author (and there don't seem to be much of these active anymore anyways) it s unlikely it ll get done..
