Moduel Installing
« on: February 03, 2010, 01:55:30 PM »

Hello all,
Today I finally got Anope working but i cant sync user accesslists. I went to the mod site and downloaded the files for cs_sync but have no idea how to install them.

I did a /operserv modload but i get: -OperServ- Unable to load module cs_sync.dll

I am running Anope 1.8.3 Stable and Unreal 3.2.8.1(current) both in the windows enviroment.

Please help, if you need more info please respond. Thanks
-pico

first, you need put cs_sync.dll  file into Anope\data\modules directory
after on ircd type /os modload cs_sync
remember  on window  no .dll

Just tryed and got:

The application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

There is no 1.8.3 compiled version of cs_sync for Windows. Unless you have someone compile it for you it won't work.

There also is no 1.8.3 dll for bs_fantasy_ext.  You would be lucky to find 1 module that is already precompiled for 1.8.3

i did it earlier if you want it, didnt change any of the docs other then readme.
http://www.lethality.me.uk/win_mods/bs_fantasy_ext-1.2.0+1.8.3-2008Runtimes.zip
compiles, works.
note, everything in /win_mods is compiled for Anope-1.8.3 using vs-2008
