A user in #anope the other day suggested this, but never posted it in the forum as instructed, so what the hell, I'll do it for him. :)

<SuperGeek> Anope should have a feature like /msg NickServ lostpass for IRCops and nets w/ encrypted databases

I agree :) was just thinking the exact same thing and came to post but it's already here :)


Perhaps even if it sends them a temp password and they use another command to identify with it... sort of like the nickname confirmation but instead of a code it has a temporary password which allows them to identify and change their password manually.
