Title: How to give a specific #room(s) never ending life
Post by: Gustav Gans on January 07, 2010, 01:17:24 PM
Hey guys!

I use the very nice anope 1.8.2 and so i look for ways to overwrite a room's lifetime. When rooms are no used for XXX days they will be deleted and i look for ways to prevent that from happening for some rooms they may not used as often but should be forced to stay alive. I was not able to find any solution only to change it for all created chat rooms but that would really be my last option if there is no other (more or less simply) way to do that.

Thank.

Use this command:
/msg ChanServ SET #channel NOEXPIRE on

You can't find it in /msg ChanServ HELP SET, I don't know why.

Also if you want to make absolutely sure a channel never expires you will also need to make sure the Nick it's registered to does not expire too.
