SuperAdmin does not turn on?
« on: November 18, 2008, 04:00:10 PM »

I have un-commented the Allow Super Admin in the services.conf file.
i have run /os set superadmin on and it gives me this

[10:53] -OperServ- You are now a SuperAdmin
-
[10:53] -irc.getitc.com- *** Global -- from OperServ: Un-Dead is now a Super-Admin

BUT it does not give me founder access to any channel and i also tryed using /os sasnick nick newnick to change a nick form "C*nt" (fill in the *) to Dirty-Mouth and i got this

[10:53] -OperServ- You are now a SuperAdmin
-
[10:53] -irc.getitc.com- *** Global -- from OperServ: Un-Dead is now a Super-Admin
-
[10:53] -OperServ- Unknown command sasnick.  "/msg OperServ HELP" for help.

but when i run
/os help sasnick i get
[10:59] -OperServ- No help available for sasnick.

i find it weird it would say no help with that but when i try to run tell me it's an unknown command....shouldn't it tell me unknown command on both?

no...
help is a command provided by the core.. if a module isn't loaded help obviously doesn't have any help to reply with and responds as such, the command itself is unknown . If help were to reply unknown command that would indicate the help system has been disabled/unloaded.
as for the reason the module probably isn't loaded, maybe because the ircd doesn't support it in which case it auto-unloads upon loading...
