How to upgrade from 1.6.4 to 1.7.15 ?

Hi ..
iam a n00b in IRCd module installation.. i already searched a
lot in the forums to find how to upgrade 1.6.4 Anope services to 1.7.15 but couldnt find any helpful info..
Would really appreciate if anyone could guide me..
Iam currently using.. UnrealIRCd 3.2.5 + Anope services 1.6.4
I need to upgrade it to 1.7.15

iirc you can just compile/install/conf the new services to the same dir as the old ones and make sure you use the same names for your db files in the conf and it should work.

Thank you for the reply.. it seems like i installed (upgraded) everything without errors. but the services doesnt seem to work !!
tried starting ./services no errors. but the services doesnt seem to work when i issue commands from my client !!

ok.. as i said iam n00b (but trying hard to learn)
it worked fine with 1.6.4 i didnt change any IRCd settings.. so what should i do now ?

no, but you did have to re-do your services.conf so it's still possible that services can't link .. double check RemoteServer and ServerName

This is strange !!! i didnt any changes after that... when i had a look this morning everthing seems to work just fine !!!
