enscription in database files
« on: April 17, 2006, 09:10:52 PM »

Hi all!

I would like to ask something about the database used by anope. Whenever I try to open a database file (for instance nick.db) some characters are enscripted such as the date of the registration and so on. First of all, I would like to know if there is a possibility of changing the registration date of a nick for example. Secondly, I would like to be informed if this particular database can be shown without enscription. Thanks in advance for your assistance. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Anope does not use a ascii db system, you can not edit it in a text editor, you would need to either write something externally that can edit the dbs
