Hi All,
I hope someone can help me out here. Quite new to ircd's but not doing so bad - I got one running! LOL However, is it possible to config Unreal 3.2x/Anope services to prevent users from making new channels?
Many thanks for any info you can provide.

Anope can not prevent the creation of new channels, as by time it gets the message the channel has been joined and can only remove them.

Unreal has denychannel, in the config might look at that

Actually, you could always limit the use of ChanServ to IRC Operators only. Look in the anope config file :)

This does not stop users from creating channels, it only stops users from using chanserv, which isn't even related.

As stated Services can not stop a user from creating a channel, your IRCd and ONLY your ircd can do so.

This module keeps the channel from being used. When a non-oper joins the channel, ChanServ joins and immediately bans them, then stays for a period of time. No, this doesn't stop the creation, but prevents users from staying in the channel.

there is a much easier and proper way that actually prevents the creation and use of channels. It's a configuration option in your IRCd conf file called deny::channel There is also an allow::channel block so users can join specific channels, so you can deny all channels then allow the ones you want users to be in.
