Post by: Haloboy on October 16, 2007, 09:47:10 PM
I need a lill help ok so when i did defcon with +R modes operserv / botserv bot or chanserv would do +R if i went back to level 5 defcon with out -R it would say

Operserv sets mode +R
Operserv sets mode -R
Chanserv(or whatever) sets mode +R

and it stays +R on all channels and also with i set a mode say..
i wonted +l 20 and i reset services they drop +l 20 to -l
i just wont services to "SAVE" channel modes like they do on other networks example irc.gamerz0ne.com i cant seem to find it in the files also i need help with making services AUTO Log to #OperServ but they tend to just go blah and dont say or report info untill i oper and do /os set logchan on and if i do /os set SUPERADMIN on it removes it after i reset services or reset IRCD

PLEASE HELP KTHX ;) i have a few more but ill leave this untill later!

*edit*
Also how do i make chanserv not show +r E.G.

* Now talking in #Renegade
* ChanServ sets mode: +ntr
* Police has joined #Renegade
* Police sets mode: +ao Police Police
* Police sets mode: -o Haloboy
* Police changes topic to 'CAUTION Welcome to Renegade; Please keep language fairly clean, no porn and don't spam the channel; Thanks. CAUTION'
* Police sets mode: +qo Haloboy Haloboy
* Haloboy sets mode: +v Haloboy

Firstly, the modes issue with DefCon is a known bug and is yet to be fixed to my knowledge.

Secondly, you shouldnt keep superadmin on all the time anyway, and it isnt applied to your nick, only your current session with services (which ends when services shuts down)

Lastly, why would you want a channel without +r that is registered, bearing in mind +r means registered.

Channel mode +r isnt hidden on any Unreal + Anope network anywhere. Unless they made custom IRCd modifications.

He would have to use "/msg ChanServ set #<channel> mlock <modes>" for them to stay when everyone has left the channel.

i know that but u dont get what im saying ok ON... irc.gamerz0ne.com if u register a name and a channel join the channel and then add modes +msnt it stays +msnt ! but on my network if i set +(unmlocked modes) and rejoin channel it DROPS them and resets to +(Mlocked Modes)

BUT it doesnt do this on irc.gamerz0ne.com and other networks i go to they just do +nt and i leave rejoin its STILL!!! +nt on mine if i have nothing but +r and i set it +ntl 20 and rejoin i loss all thos modes but +r stays so it drops from +ntl 20 to -ntl 20 and goes back to +r

so plz i hope u understand now lol..

Because you didnt mlock the modes on the channel...

On the networks where +nt are back after, theyre both mlocked and/or in the modes-on-join option in the IRCd config
