Post by: f0rmat on December 14, 2006, 06:05:22 PM

Unreaircd.conf + service.conf = no response

there was one time when i typed ./services  into the terminal and my irc server said that a connection was attempted but it had taken the liberty and blocked it for me arrrrrrggg

I have used the automated link block creator the other day. i put it in my Ubrealircd.conf file. i moved it round several times to different parts of the conf saved and /rehash in irc. rehashed succesfully typed ./services whilst in the services folder did that succesfully so was confused. i typed ./services -debug -nofork it brought back the same text that was shown in irc client that it had been blocked because username = unknown@127.0.0.1???
i went through the services config file and found that my username was not unknown@127.0.0.1???   but was correct = services@localhost   i went into my Unrealircd.conf file and set that address as services and made sure that it was ALLOWED
did another /rehash it passed did the ./services -debug -nofork    did the same thing it said
that it was blocked :S ;)
