Howto enable MySQL on Linux

HI There !
I have a small problem to get mysql to work.
i have a precompiled 1.9.0 and i use
mysql
{


}
And it whont work it uses the db's in the folder instead.
I have tried to compile 1.9.1 but it fails with alot of error's
So is there another way ??

mysql support was removed from 1.9.0. it has to be redone from scratch.
