Chanserv issues..
« on: July 22, 2013, 07:11:48 PM »

Greetings,

First, All help is appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Noticed two issues with Chanserv, using 1.9.8

For some reason when doing /msg chanserv op #channel nick I get the following response.
<Global> m_rewrite: Unable to rewrite 'OP #channel'

But if I use /msg chanserv up #channel nick, It ops me normally.

Secondly,

In use of the xop system, if someone adds someone to the access list adding aop or sop for some reason when pulling up the access list for the channel, it shows all users as having 10000 access and at other times, even adding an aop gives them level 10 access which should be sop access I Believe.

01[00:33] -> *ChanServ* access #Chan list
05[00:33] -ChanServ- Access list for #Chan:
05[00:33] -ChanServ- Number  Level  Mask
05[00:33] -ChanServ- 1       10000  *****
05[00:33] -ChanServ- 2       10000  *****
05[00:33] -ChanServ- 3       10000  *****
05[00:33] -Chanserv- 4       10000  *****
05[00:33] -ChanServ- 5       10000  *****
05[00:33] -ChanServ- 6       10000  *****
05[00:33] -ChanServ- End of access list

1. Has anyone modified the source code of either Anope or your IRCd of choice?

2. Please reply with the output from:
 - a. /os modlist
 - b. /quote version
 - c. /quote version <services server name> replacing "<services server name>" with the name of you gave your services.

thanks
