db looks corrupt, restore from back up.

Try your luck with what's in the backup directory under the services install directory or you should have your own back ups.

I have nick.db but how do I backup from it?

You'd copy the nick.db.date from backup to nick.db in the main dir.

There is not a nick.db.date   just    nick.db

In your back up I'd expect it to be date stamped but OK.

Compare the sizes of the two files, is the back up one bigger? (if so, copy out the one in the main dir and then restore the back up one there)
