Title: Modules Area
Post by: Vorex on February 05, 2006, 01:04:57 AM
Will the old modules site be brought online again? (please say yes)

Also, who do I contact as of now about updating a module on the site?

I've given up hope of ever seeing that thing again.. started hosting my modules off my site quicker and easier then hoping the devs will put the web site back together

While thats easier, it's good  to have it so that anope users can have a single place to obtain modules.

If there is a problem with the old modules site I'd be more then happy to look over it and fix it up so it could be used again.  It worked very well for me and the design was good too so I don't know why you guys wouldn't put it back up.

At this rate I will have all the old modules ported to the new format before they get around to updating their site

http://www.nomadinc.net/mymods/

and if its not there look in

It isn't a question of hosting, it's about anope's offical module repository...

Hosting isn't the issue. The issue is that the old modules site isn't advanced enough to do what we want it to do. It should also have things like windows-dlls instead of just source files and a way to indicate with which anope versions modules work. This is one of the things we want the new webmaster to do, but as far as i know (dengel knows it exactly) noone has applied for web guru yet.

Do you guys knw courtroom???

I found it and trying to compile it, but gives me this :
courtroom.c:93:1: warning: "IsSkoAdmin" redefined
In file included from courtroom.c:11:
../include/struct.h:665:1: warning: this is the location of the previous definition

Then when i try to load it, it says :

 [09:04:35] -Inferno.FireServ.Za.Net- *** Notice -- unrealircd.conf:18: loadmodule src/modules/courtroom.so: failed to load: tmp/550BF7A3.courtroom.so: Undefined symbol "m_part".

Any ideas??

http://wiki.anope.org/Module:Listing

That works for now I guess..I made the page prefix Module: instead of Modules: incase people want to add wiki pages about their modules they could without conflicting with offical stuffs...
