NOEXPIRE is only available via /ns SASET, not via SET.

Hmmmmm. I have Anope-1.7.12 and i can't figure out how to use noexpire option which i really need. I gave up few months ago, but i really need it now.
When i use: /ns help SASET
i get this:
"»» [msg(nickserv)] help saset
-NickServ(services@soliter.org)- No help available for saset."

When i try /msg nickserv SASET
i get this:
"»» [msg(nickserv)] SASET
-NickServ(services@soliter.org)- Unknown command SASET. "/msg NickServ HELP" for help."

hm... if you have anope 1.7.12.

First  type /os set noexpire on|off and after then you can you /ns set nick noexpire on|off or /ns set noexpir on|off (for ur own nick). but only SA(Services admin in anope acess) can do it

ns_saset does not exist in my services.conf.

Quote

-OperServ(services@soliter.org)- Syntax: SET NOEXPIRE {ON | OFF}
-OperServ(services@soliter.org)- Sets no expire mode on or off. In no expire mode, nicks,
-OperServ(services@soliter.org)- channels, akills and exceptions won't expire until the
-OperServ(services@soliter.org)- option is unset.
-OperServ(services@soliter.org)- This option is equivalent to the command-line option
-OperServ(services@soliter.org)- -noexpire.

I don't believe thats it.

ExoduS when you msg operserv just like the code you just posted above is telling you to type /operserv SET NOEXPIRE {ON | OFF} for nicks on the whole server not to expire so this is not the one needed

*Edit Start*
as far as i know now 1.7 uses this.  /ns SASET on|off
or is it /ns saset nick noexpire I know its one of these.
*Edit Stop*

skatestuff again with the posts that are just wrong..

---

/os set noexpire  simply tells the core anope code not to run the expiration functions this will cause ALL nicks and channels not to expire. Helpful you are merging two networks and want to let the users connect and identify at least once before letting services do their expiration

eheh Hi Justin,
don't sweat the small shit bro,
the answer you are looking for (if you haven't already found it) is located in the post http://forum.anope.org/viewthread.php?tid=81#pid487
type "/msg operserv modload ns_saset"
once your server responds with "(notice from): OperServ  Module ns_saset loaded" then you can do "/msg nickserv saset <nick> noexpire on"

of course you're prolly curious how i know your name????

LOL

yes you know me too Justin....
