Anope-1.7.24 Without MySQL

Is it a problem to run Anope-1.7.24 without MySQL?  I realized after compiling and running Anope that MySQL is not installed and/or configured on my server.  If it is possible, any steps I should take (or conf settings) to keep issues to a minimum?

Running without MySQL is fine, just don't enable it in the Config.

actually since mysql isn't installed, Anope will automaticlly disable sql support at compile time so you can't enable it even if you wanted to.
