Title: Custom Mod Coding
Post by: Trystan Scott Lee on January 09, 2009, 06:43:15 AM
I have some free time, and opening my skills back up to doing custom mod coding. Prices vary based on the complexity of the request. Drop me a line if you have a request and will get back to you

Thank you Viper for your reply,

It is very sad to know katsklaw has resigned from anope team, because he has contributed so much, from forum to modules etc..
wish katsklaw all the very best.

Hello Trystan :D

May you update bs_zbot to work properly with anope 1.8?

Currently I use version 0.8.8 on my 1.8 installation, it works and also worked on 1.7.xx but there seems something strange with the mysql-thingy (connection). Maybe there is no "ping" to check the mysql-connection. If zbot isnt used for many minutes, there always comes:
"
(ah and dr.stein told you make it now. so hug him if theres something mis-communicated ;))

I'll take a look shortly, currently work on a request already. I need to seriously redo zbot since there were so many request for fixes.

Hello Anope Supporters/Users,

Trystan has just coded a custom module for me, and i am very happy with it because the asking price is almost nothing compare to his knowledge and time spent on the module.
Please ask him if you would like to have custom modules done. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for custom modules, because as far as i know very few coders out there are available to do custom modules, grabe this oppotunity fast before Trystan stop accepting custom coding  ;)

Best regards,

Anope User/Supporter

I'd like to add that Trystan has also spent time on both the Anope and Denora development teams as wll as released numerous Anope modules in the past so he's very familiar with the code base and limitations he's working with.

Hi

I'm looking for an anope module which could select the language for a user depending on his ISP.
Example : *.fr -> automatically "/ns set language 2"

This could the first stage of the module. The second one, which seems more complex, will be to adapt the botserv system to the language of the owner.
Example : no english owner prefer to see bot speaking the same language as them, "sign kick" example : "Too many Caps Lock" (I don't remember the exact sentence for this autokick).
