Post by: Alinutza on December 06, 2006, 02:33:01 PM
Hi,

I'm involved with a new site (called ITerating)- a wiki guide for all software (open source and commercial) and I'm working at "Website & Communication Applications" class. I added Anope in the wiki guide but this is all I added so far :

Description: Anope Services are built off of the original Epona code written by Lara which is built off of IRC Services. These services have advanced the original Epona code and include new featuers such as Modules, Mysql, and Defcon Mode.

Home page link: http://www.anope.org

Belongs to Classes: Instant Messaging Applications

Vendor or Foundation:

Project Administrator or Product Manager: David Robson, Daniel Engel

Contributors:

User Groups:

Licenses:

Operating Systems:

Packaged In:

Programming Languages: PHP

Programming Interfaces (API):

Graphical Interfaces (GUI):

Available languages:

Patches:

This is all I added so far (still many gaps). Any suggestions anyone?

Belongs to Classes: Instant Messaging Applications

Vendor or Foundation: No particular vendor, you could just call us 'Anope Team'.

Project Administrator or Product Manager: Daniel Engel

Contributors: Basically all names on http://anope.org/staff.php (Toni Kay, David Robson, Pieter Bootsma, Florian Schulze, Mark Summers, Chris Hogben, Charles Kingsley, Gabriel Acevedo H., Scott Seufert, Matthew Gaskins)

User Groups: What kind of answer would you here? Something like 'Hosters', 'Developers', etc? If so, server administrators would fit best

Licenses: GPL

Operating Systems: POSIX-compliant (Linux, BSD, Unix, OS X), Win32

Packaged In: Probably '.tar.gz source archive' and 'Windows installer', but i'm not sure what you mean

Programming Languages: C

Programming Interfaces (API): What kind of answer would go here?

Graphical Interfaces (GUI): None

Available languages: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Catalan, Greek, Dutch, Russian, Hungarian, Polish

Patches: What kind of answer would go here?

That's what i can fill in; italic texts are comment instead of answer.

Thanks. I've updated the Data Sheet for Anope : http://www.iterating.com/productclasses/Instant_Messaging_Applications_1? (it's on the second page because it has not been reviewed yet) . If you think smth is missing feel free to add it. Just click the [edit] button
