Title: Channel news

Can someone try to make module for channel that has option to set news such as logon news, oper news or random news for one channel, and that set option is limited to services root , or services admin

sounds like an interesting idea... but since opers have nothing to do with channels, i d limit it to a regular channel access level...

didn't say i have time enough to write it :)

Hmm. May you explain more in detail?
What do you mean with logon news? such like "notice from botservbot: you are user 34 joining that channel today" ?
What is oper news in channel? and what are the random news?
I guess random channelnews may be equal to "onjoinnotice". Or am I far away from that what you mean?

I have a lot of ideas, but I don't know coding..
Or maybe this will appear in 1.9.* branch.. who knows..
