1.7.16 - no passwords
« on: October 16, 2006, 09:12:33 PM »

Hey,

just a new problem... everytime i register a new nickname and try to update the database (/os update) after the registration, the given password is lost.

The anope_ns_core -> pass is also emtpy:

---
[BLOB - 0 Bytes]
---

Any idea?

Chris

So you have MySQL enabled (correct me if i'm wrong)...

Do you have encryption enabled? (via ./Config)
Did you enable MysqlSecure in services.conf?

Hey,

MySQL -> enabled
encryption (./Config) -> disabled
MySQL Secure (services.conf) -> disabled

btw: just compiled 1.7.15 again with the same ./Config and services.conf -> everything works fine.

the problem only seems to exist in 1.7.16.

Just a note :).

It's already on the bugtracker and will be fixed in the next release.
