Surely the fact it tells you to choose another would tell you to change it and try again before posting?

Yes, they should be unique, I see nothing in that post you linked to saying otherwise?

I just commented out that line in anopes .conf and it works now. Sorry for that...dumb question.

BTW: My linked post also doesn't say, the have to be unique. There is nothing said about the numeric in the unrealircd.conf
There is only that: "6> our numeric is 250"
