Is there a way in the services.conf to add nickserv to auto change users nicks if they do not identify within the 60 second time? i know it was on version 1.8x but i dont see this option to do this for ALL nicks, not just my own, some people on my network dont understand how to set this, so im trying to find the way to set it in conf so it sets it on all users? any help? thanks Mike

Add 'kill' or 'killquick' to the defaults=.

I have it set to killquick, but it is not forcing the nick change?

Make sure 'kill' or 'killquick' are in <nickserv:defaults> and comment out <nickserv:addaccessonreg>. This will not work fo nicks that have already been registered. You will need to set kill on those individually.

I think the problem is with 1.9 itself, not anything you are doing. I've seen some other nick-related issues with 1.9.x SVN, and it may be that 1.9.0 has some similar issues. We will have to dig a bit deeper to find the cause.

Does NickServ say it's changing your nick and then doesn't?
Also which IRCd are you using and can you paste the output of /map and /stats U please?
