Anope 1.8.6 w/ unrealircd 3.2.8.1 ServicesRoot
« on: August 31, 2011, 05:22:49 PM »

Hi

I found a lot about the topic but none of the Solutions did work for me.

I configured unrealIRCd and got it working fine so far. Started to configure Anope, which, to me, looks configured correctly so far.

However, when I want to start the Service I get the "ServicesRoot missing" error. All the Forum posts I found so far tell me that the problem is that i did not uncomment the "Servicesroot "username"" part in the config. However, it is not commented.

As this is my first IRC Server/ Bot I would be glad if someone could look over my config and give me a hint where to look for the error.

The configs are fairly standard and not really personalised over the extent that it works (yet)
unrealircd.conf http://pastebin.com/pqSiSYUM
services.conf http://pastebin.com/XLBZPmg4

Thanks in advance

Thanks, didn't see that. The problem persists after the change though (pasted your example).

Edit: I found the Error, I tested the wrong services.conf. Thanks a lot.
