I have 2 modules that I used to host using an xchat client but would like to have them included with botserv so we can keep the bot # down in our channels.
The first is a countdown to a date. Basically someone types !countdown and the bot will tell them how long until a date specified in either the source or an ini file (we are not using mysql and would prefer not to use it right now, maybe in the future).
The other is a quotes module that doesn't require mysql. I am not sure how hard it would be to write a module that could read random lines from an ini file containing all the quotes, but that would be ideal.
I tried searching for both of these, and I know there is a quotes module already, but I couldn't find the countdown module or a quotes module that didn't require mysql.
