Default language based on TLD
« on: February 15, 2006, 05:32:41 PM »

It might be nice to have the default language used by the services, based on the TLD of the user and if the TLD can't be found in the language list have the default language in the services.conf to be used as fallback.

Not always the easiest thing to do, and there are many countries that use two or more languages as the primary, would require a big list of possiblities.. IE.. TLD for mexico is MX, but their native is spanish, would have to have a table to that mapped MX to spanish, etc..

Well, the list wouldn't have to be fully filled and existing, but the possibility to add certain mapping would be nice, so that networks can add them at will.
Of course if a full list was supplied together with the feature, it would be great :)
