Change message of kick
« on: September 12, 2007, 03:16:53 PM »

I'm sorry for my poor english...

But,
It is possible to change the message of kick of badwords “Supervise your words!” ? And to put for example, “Thank you to remain polished!”

Thanks in advance
Best regards,

as far as i know, it is hardcoded in the source code and modifying it will void your support. But it is possible to change them via the language file, example: en_us.l file and recompiling them again.

hehe ^^ you got warned you currently modified the source, now  you lost your support... _._

but I give you a hint: if you modified the .l file correctly you need to recompile and restart.

What is the .l file ? An extension ?
If it's an extension, where can I find it ?

Note : I use Anope on Windows XP, not Linux...

yeah, .l is anope language file extension. Since your operating system is Windows, there's no way you can change the language file!

You have lost your support, you must now figure it out yourself.
