Title: bs_seen not allowing anyone to use
Post by: Trel on November 01, 2008, 07:30:12 PM
I installed http://modules.anope.org/viewmod.php?id=39
However, while I do get the effect of being able to search any user, the part about any user being able to do it isn't working.

(I know I have it installed right because I do have the effect of being able to search any registered user)

And yet, in order to use the !seen command, I have to have the user on the VOP list minimum.

Have you tried A) disabling xop for the channel and then B) adjusting the "fantasy" level for the channel to 0 so all users can use fantasy commands?

No, because I do have access lists which I want to still have, so I have to leave xop on.
Plus, the description specifically says
"This command can now be used by anyone on the channel"

So, I'm thinking perhaps a bug in module.

Could be done that module sets fantasy to level 0 on all channels, even if xop is on or off. (just idea)

Actually I was given a version of the mod which was updated.  Apparantly the ability for any user to be able to use it was broken during one of the anope version updates.
