Title: /NickServ IDENTIFY and IRC PROGRAM
Post by: os390 on December 05, 2006, 04:58:10 PM
I have a nick REGISTERED, when i connect to my IRC server appears :

-NickServ- This nickname is registered and protected.  If it is your
-NickServ- nick, type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password.  Otherwise,
-NickServ- please choose a different nick.

I configured the IRC program to send the password and identify the nick but nothing happens the nick not identify

Regards in advantage....

/nickserv set secure on
/nickserv set kill on (will change the nick after 60 secs)
/nickserv set kill quick (will change the nick after 20 secs)

and for all newly registered nicks to have secure options and kill turned ON, enable
NSDefKill
NSDefSecure
on your services.conf

NSDefKill
#NSDefKillQuick
NSDefSecure
NSDefPrivate
NSDefHideEmail
NSDefHideUsermask
#NSDefHideQuit
#NSDefMsg
NSDefMemoSignon
NSDefMemoReceive

i have unreal 3.2.5 and anope 1.7.17, i define the user in unrealircd.conf as oper, then i register the nick all work fine but the password what i send in IRC program dont' pass to NickServ IDENTIFY, i mean NickServ IDENTIFY don't read the password that i send with IRC program

i read FAQ , Forum Internet and i don't find nothing

do you have the aliases set up properly? does /msg nickserv identify work?
or
do you have include "aliases/anope.conf"; in your unrealircd.conf ?

I also have the NickServ-configuration like this, but new registered users do not need to identify... The rest works very fine! (UnrealIRCd 3.2.7 / Anope 1.7.19 / Denora 1.4)

#NSDefNone
NSDefKill
#NSDefKillQuick
NSDefSecure
#NSDefPrivate
NSDefHideEmail
NSDefHideUsermask
#NSDefHideQuit
#NSDefMsg
NSDefMemoSignon
NSDefMemoReceive
NSDefAutoop

Can someone tell me how to enable the kill-option automaticly to new registered users, pls?
